Seeing Stella in my space, eating food I prepared, is a high I hadnât planned for. Iâd had no idea how deeply it would hit, but I already know that feeding her every day is going to sate my hunger to provide for her wellbeing. Her lips wrap around each bite, her straight white teeth gleaming in the bright sunlight streaming through the picture window. It has me envisioning her lips circled around the base of my cock, those tiny teeth scraping lightly over my shaft as she pulls away to breathe. Precum forces its way from my slit so steadily I no longer register each tiny pulse. Instead, it feels like one continuous mini-orgasm, endlessly cycling through me.
I hate having to ask questions about last night, but I need answers. I keep circling around to the way none of it makes sense and there seems to be no motive. My phone rings while Stellaâs going over the events as she remembers them, yet again, and I see itâs the chief.
âBenton.â Before I can get more than my name out, heâs launching into a description of an active shooter event that just took place outside Vice and Vow Ink. It seems the perp shot out the windows of all the employeeâs cars before taking out the shopâs giant, plate-glass front window and speeding away.
My heart races triple time with certainty that todayâs incident and last nightâs crime against Stella are connected. Thereâs something dangerous afoot, and the risk of my pixie being caught up in it is unacceptable.
As soon as the phone call is done, I catch sight of my sweet girlâs stricken expression in the windowâs reflection. Her lip is caught between her teeth so tightly the ruby red has leached to the palest pink, and tears swim in her eyes.
âTh-there was a shooting? At the shop? Isâ¦is everyone okay?â
âOh, sweetheart, Iâm sorry to scare you. Everyoneâs fine. Only property damage. No one was hurt, physically, at all.â Reassuring her with words isnât enough. I need her in my arms. Lifting her from her seat and into my lap is absurdly easy, and though I know thatâs partly due to her petite build, in the back of my mind, a plan forms to make sure her daily food intake is as healthy as it can be. The internal Daddy radar in my gut is pinging and telling me she doesnât do a very good job of taking care of herself.
Itâll be my job now. Especially, now that it seems some asshole is targeting my sweet girl and her friends. Stella swears she doesnât have any angry exes, and though I sure as shit donât want to ask for any details, I know Iâd be remiss in my job as a detective not to ask for them. Hearing her describe the guys sheâs dated in the past and how things ended with each of them feels like torture.
I wish I could have found her years ago and made her mine before she ever met any lowlifes who would mistreat the gift of her affections.
